Secure and standard web traffic are measured the same. You don't have to pay a premium to use secure forms at Hurricane Electric. Storage and traffic are billed on a monthly cycle. If the average size of your web pages is 100 kilobytes (50K of text and a 50K graphic), one gigabyte/month corresponds to 10,000 hits.
If you are registering a new domain, does not include Register.com registration fee. You will be charged directly by them.

Common Questions
Why should I go with you when I can get unlimited traffic for free elsewhere?
You get what you pay for. We've repeatedly had customers move to us after their provider shut them off for doing too much traffic or overloading their server, even though they had "unlimited" traffic. We have an incentive to give you the high performance platform you deserve. We pride ourselves in high performance web servers that deliver.
How do I know if my desired name is already in use?
Register.com provides a web form to query the domain name registry.
How long can my domain name be and what characters can I use?
Domain names must be 64 characters or less including the top level domain, such as ".com", at the end. A domain name may be composed of letters, numbers, or the dash, "-", character.
Can I install my own CGI scripts?
Yes! You get your own individual cgi-bin directory, in which you can install your own CGI scripts. You then invoke them via a wrapper script. Our server has a complete unix development environment installed, including perl, tcl, and gcc.
