Do you offer any discounts on web pages? We have a Value Added Reseller program for developers that have two or more Enhanced Virtual Host (or larger) accounts with us. Can I prepay for a web account? You can prepay for a year by check for any account. With the Starter Virtual Host and Enhanced Virtual Host Accounts we'll need to have a credit card number on file in addition to the prepayment. Prepayments are non-refundable (a 1 year prepayment is a 1 year commitment). Here's what you need to do: Mail us a check made out for a year. Make the check out to Hurricane Electric and include the name of your account on the check. Mail the check along with a note specifying that you're prepaying for an account and your account name to: Hurricane Electric 760 Mission Ct Fremont, CA 94539 Is there a per hit charge? We charge by traffic not by hits. Doesn't payment by credit card cost more than handling a check? No. We process credit card billing with special software, as opposed to having somebody post payments to each account manually. Can a Starter Virtual Host Account be paid for by check? No. However you can pay by check for a Professional Virtual Host Account. Will I have to pay an additional set-up fee if later I decide to upgrade to a Professional Virtual Host Account? There is no additonal set up fee for upgrading from any Virtual Host Account type to any other Virtual Host Account type. Can I get a free trial of your server? We state "Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" on our services page. This guarantee means that if our services don't satisfy your needs you can ask for and receive a full refund. This implies that you place an order with an intent to pay provided you are satisfied. How do I apply for an account? Please view the information at: http://he.net/web_hosting.html and fill out the form at: https://www.he.net/cgi-bin/webspaceorder How fast can we get set-up? Your account will be processed within 72 hours. Would you accept my application from outside the United States? Yes, absolutely! Is this a month to month contract? Yes. Can my account name have a space in it? No. Will you bill my credit card monthly? Yes. Is there any way an account name can be more than eight characters? No because many system utilities expect 8 characters or less. What are your credit card billing terms? The billing is automatic. You may check your account status online at https://admin.he.net.
